Summer Camp
Valiquette Academy Foundation
The activities of our summer camp are the same as the March Break Camp, but also include sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, frisbee, picnic day races, badminton and swimming lessons.
We also study one hour of French or English in the morning and one hour of mathematics in the afternoon.

When I first came to the Valiquette Academy, I was failing in both French and math and my other grades weren’t much better. I was really struggling with all my schoolwork. As soon as I started at the Valiquette Academy, I knew that they were doing something very different and something very special. Thanks to them, I learned how to read and take notes, how to study, how to write essays, and maybe most importantly, I learned to focus and to always keep trying. It took a year, but I went from failing to getting 70% in all my subjects. Now in my second year with the Valiquette Academy I am often getting high 80%.

I was contacted by my daughter’s school and told that a tutoring centre was offering free tutoring. My daughter reads every night and spends hours studying regularly, but still failed. My husband and I do not speak French and we could never afford tutoring. The Valiquette Academy Foundation made a remarkable difference in my daughter’s life. They have supported her for two years and have taken her from failing to getting 80-85% in all her classes. Perhaps most importantly, she has gone from someone who felt devastated, hopeless and incredibly stressed, to confident and happy. The Valiquette Acadamy Foundation saved my daughter and has given her a very real chance for success in life. We cant express enough how the work they do changes the lives of children.

The Valiquette Academy is more than just an academic centre. Yes my son’s grades improved because of the tutoring he received, but more than that, his grades improved because he was taught how to study, read and take notes, prepare for tests and exams and organization skills. Most notably he told me he learned the importance of being mature enough to understand his responsibilities and to prioritize his work. I finally see a positive change in my child’s attitude.

I am so happy to see that someone is taking the initiative to help the children in our community in the most meaningful way! We have three children who work very hard at school but still were not getting satisfactory grades. Thanks to The Valiquette Academy Foundation, the cost of their tutoring and camps is subsidied – we could not afford it otherwise. Since they have attended the Academy, (our oldest has attended for four years so far), all have improved their grades and have become very focused and confident.
